# Adsonomy > Adsonomy is an AI manager for advertising inside ChatGPT. It plans, launches and optimises OpenAI Ads campaigns for shops and service businesses, connected natively to Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, websites and CRMs. Two editions: Control (you run it, with rules) and Autopilot (the AI manager runs it inside your guardrails). Built in the Netherlands, runs ads in ChatGPT in the EU, the US and Asia. Waitlist opens 1 October 2026; founding customers onboarded from November 2026. Adsonomy is an independent product built on the public OpenAI Ads API and is not affiliated with OpenAI. ## What it does - Connects an OpenAI Ads account (ads.openai.com) by API key, or manages it under a partner key. - Connects a shop (Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce; Shopware, Magento, PrestaShop on the roadmap) for catalogue, product feed, pixel and server-side order conversions. - Connects a website (WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, any sitemap) and a CRM or booking tool (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, Calendly, Stripe) for lead conversions and lead-quality feedback. - Writes intent hints (the OpenAI Ads targeting mechanism, up to 2,000 free-text hints per ad group) from the real catalogue or service pages. - Adds what the OpenAI Ads API lacks: dayparting, target CPA and ROAS controllers, budget pacing, experiments, drafts and approvals, duplication, shadow mode. - Autopilot: observe, diagnose, propose, act, explain. Per-action policy (suggest only, auto above confidence, full auto). Hard stops: spend ceiling, bid caps, protected campaigns, kill switch. - Full change log with the source of every change (human, rule, AI) and a daily brief. ## Pages - [Home](https://adsonomy.com/): product overview, editions, integrations, FAQ, waitlist. - [Guides](https://adsonomy.com/guides): index of the guides below. - [Privacy notice](https://adsonomy.com/privacy) - [Terms of Service](https://adsonomy.com/terms) - [Full site text](https://adsonomy.com/llms-full.txt): every page as plain text in one file. ## Guides - [How ads in ChatGPT work](https://adsonomy.com/guides/how-ads-in-chatgpt-work): chat cards and product ads, where they appear, context hints, locations and platforms, bidding types and strategies, billing in plain terms, reporting, and what the platform does not offer. - [OpenAI Ads for Shopify, WooCommerce and BigCommerce](https://adsonomy.com/guides/openai-ads-for-shopify-woocommerce-bigcommerce): what a shop needs (ad account, Agentic Commerce feed over SFTP, pixel, server-side conversions with deduplication), how Adsonomy connects each platform, stock and margin signals, and custom audiences in the EU. - [Ads in ChatGPT for service businesses](https://adsonomy.com/guides/ads-in-chatgpt-for-service-businesses): lead-based advertising, lead conversion events, the CRM feedback loop, chat card creative, and hints written from service pages. - [OpenAI Ads Manager versus the Ads API](https://adsonomy.com/guides/openai-ads-manager-vs-api): what each can do, what only partners can enable, no webhooks or sandbox, rate limits, and why a management layer exists. - [Autopilot: guardrails and accountability](https://adsonomy.com/guides/autopilot-guardrails-and-accountability): goals, hard guardrails, per-action policy, spend limit windows as ceilings, change log, kill switch, shadow mode, daily brief. - [OpenAI Ads conversion tracking](https://adsonomy.com/guides/openai-ads-conversion-tracking-pixel-and-conversions-api): create the pixel and conversion event, install the pixel with consent, fire browser events with an event id, send the same events from the server with the Conversions API (hashing, oppref click id, dedup), verify by channel, and how Adsonomy automates it. - [How ads in ChatGPT differ from search and social ads](https://adsonomy.com/guides/how-chatgpt-ads-differ-from-search-and-social-ads): no keyword auction, matching by conversation meaning through context hints, chat cards and product ads, no audiences needed, billing per click or impression, what the platform lacks (dayparting, target CPA, webhooks, sandbox) and the habits that follow. - [Context hints in ChatGPT ads](https://adsonomy.com/guides/contextual-targeting-and-context-hints-in-chatgpt-ads): what a context hint is, hints as sentences with examples, ten angle kinds (use case, problem, occasion, persona, comparison, objection, complement, season, service outcome, local), replace-on-update, the language assumption (one ad group per narrative and language), and measuring per angle. - [Budgets, pacing and bidding for ChatGPT ads](https://adsonomy.com/guides/budgets-pacing-and-bidding-strategies-for-chatgpt-ads): campaign budgets in micros (daily or lifetime), the account daily spend limit and spend limit windows, bidding types and strategies, what CPM, CPC, CPA, CPO and ROAS targets mean and how Nomy's controller emulates them, plans and pacing against a period, and guardrails. - [ChatGPT ads in the US, the EU and Asia](https://adsonomy.com/guides/chatgpt-ads-in-the-us-eu-and-asia): location targeting by country, region and market ids from the geo lookup (availability per account), custom audiences outside the EEA and Switzerland with attestation, consent expectations in the EU, currency and timezone per ad account, language per ad group as an assumption, and one campaign per market. ## Contact hello@adsonomy.com
